Welcome to ICC, your Window to the World !

Dear Sir or Madam:

Thank you very much for your interest in our school.

These days, selecting a language school is not easy, since there are so many to choose from. Therefore, making the right decision is extremely important. When I first came to Japan to improve my Japanese language skills, I felt that, although the Japanese people were very well educated and serious about learning, there were very few among those I met who could confidently communicate in a foreign language. For this reason, after I chose to settle here, I decided to establish ICC Language Schools and devote myself to language education. Through my own experience of mastering six foreign languages, I have become familiar with the best and most effective learning methods available. Given the current speed of globalization, mastering foreign languages, especially English and Japanese, is no longer just an extra skill but a basic requirement for any person who wishes to succeed in this "Global Era."

Since its inception in 1986, ICC has been enjoying an excellent reputation for offering high-quality language instruction in Japanese, English, and in over 50 other languages, first-rate translation and interpretation services, and memorable study-abroad and homestay programs. In addition to our regular students, we are proud to have a long list of high-ranking clients, including major Japanese and foreign companies, and governmental and educational institutions. Our goal is to continue to provide our students with the most effective, enjoyable and rewarding educational and cross-cultural programs available, in order to help them develop the communicative skills they need to succeed in their endeavors as well as to contribute to society and the world at large.

We carefully select all our instructors based on both a professional analysis of the students’ linguistic needs and on my own personal experience of learning foreign languages. Thus, whether you wish to improve your basic conversational or your business communication skills, in Japanese or in any other language, I sincerely believe that ICC is the right choice for you. In this homepage, you may not find all the answers to your questions. Therefore, please feel free to visit or call us anytime for further details, or to schedule a trial lesson. Our kind administrative staff will be happy to assist you.

We look forward to welcoming you soon to one of our schools!

With kind regards,

Armand Knafo
Director

  • Encourage a broad international perspective, respect and appreciation for other cultures and beliefs, in order to enable our students to play an active role as global citizens who will contribute to world peace, based on mutual understanding and cultural respect.
  • Adapt to major changes in both the needs and methods of today’s world of education, quickly and flexibly.
